CELEBRATION TIME
South Bay Construction toasted to the holiday season after a long, hardworking year of unprecedented growth. We celebrated in style at Orchard City Kitchen at the Pruneyard in our hometown of Campbell. Our annual holiday party was a huge success! We had almost 100% employee turnout who enjoyed great food, fine drinks, big laughs, fun games, and even a magician!
For the past few years, we have hosted our annual holiday party locally, making it convenient for both our office and field staff to attend. We are lucky to have an abundance of great venues located minutes away from us in our growing city of Campbell—some of which we’ve had the pleasure of building. This year, Orchard City Kitchen sparked our interest with its modern feel and array of Asian fusion cuisine such as Lobster Dumplings and Glazed Pork Ribs (um, yum!). Not to mention their uniquely named drinks (O.G. Milk Punch, Million Dollar Man, and Stone Cold Stunner to name a few) which was a special and deserving treat for all.
We hired a casino game vendor to setup gaming tables with Vegas style dealers. Everyone had a chance to play and bring out their competitive sides—our high roller of the night made over $6,000! With the magician, we experienced close-up, sleight-of-hand magic tricks which left everyone’s jaw dropping. And no company holiday party is complete without raffle prizes! Generous thought was put into the prizes—from Niner tickets to airline tickets, from auto detailing to body detailing (spa treatments), from Fitbits to iPads—ensuring there was something all 108 of our employees wanted to win.
We enjoyed the venue, the food and festivities, but our company party would not be complete without the people who make us who we are, the SBC Team. All the hard work and sweat we produced throughout the year creates lasting bonds between us. And what better way to wrap up the year than in the company of these great people. Thank you team!
